Honestly, I think you were rather simple on your analysis… The relictombs is a different world with an environment of its own, it has existed for time unknown without any maintenance… We have had enough information to rule out the possibility of rebellion in the Djins’ midst, if anything, some of them, like “the rebel djin” wanted to fight back but the great majority didn’t. I respect anyone capable of coming up with theories, but I like to think that one will always remember what has already been revealed throughout the whole process of theorizing.

We’re not reading the same LN is all I can say. Nobody can “control” aether in the literal sense of the word, not even Arthur who is said to be the one most loved by it. Nonetheless, I can guarantee you that the Asura weren’t even remotely close to what the Djin could do, be it in mana arts or in aether arts. We have had enough information to rule out the possibility of rebellion in the Djins’ midst, if anything, some of them, like “the rebel djin” wanted to fight back but the great majority didn’t. I might be missing something but, from what I have read up until now, the Djin were always portrayed as more advanced and powerful than the dragons, after all, the strong will never seek upon someone weaker than themselves for strength…

no….first one is not my opinion but a fact. It was mentioned at a point in the story that all emitters are descendants of the djinn race which is makes arthur and ellie djinn descendants too. A few chapters ago when they were in the 3rd ruin arthur was clearly able to hear the djinn but ellie only heard his whisper, arthur mentioned that he thought ellie would be able to completely hear them because of their shared ancestry. Also if it wouldn’t make sense to call a dicathian born to be a descendant, what connection does being a dicathian born have to do with djinn ancestry I agree with the second one, and i also know that. no….first one is not my opinion but a fact. It was mentioned at a point in the story that all emitters are descendants of the djinn race which is makes arthur and ellie djinn descendants too. A few chapters ago when they were in the 3rd ruin arthur was clearly able to hear the djinn but ellie only heard his whisper, arthur mentioned that he thought ellie would be able to completely hear them because of their shared ancestry. Also if it wouldn’t make sense to call a dicathian born to be a descendant, what connection does being a dicathian born have to do with djinn ancestry I agree with the second one, and i also know that.
